The French boys’ handball team won the gold medal. Pascal Person’s team defeated the Slovenians in the finals 30:28.

The Slovenian team began the match actively and won the first half with a 4 point difference – 16:12. The second half began with a good performance by Sasa Prapotnik’s players, though eventually the French managed to overcome their opponents. KyllianVilleminot was the best among Peron’s players with his 12 points, while Tilen Kosi distinguished himself form the Slovenians with 8 points.

France had previously defeated Slovenia 32:29 in the qualification round.
