EYOF Tbilisi 2015 Organizing Committee Transportation Team will provide effective and timely transportation services to all accredited participants covering all key locations including AVL, EYOF Training and Competition venues, EOC Family Hotel, VIP and Media Hotels and other locations.
Transportation to/from the Venues
Shuttle buses will run from the Athletes’ Village to/from all competition and training venues according to the defined schedule. Special boards located at the shuttle bus stops will clearly identify locations and time schedule. Volunteers at the stops of the venues and Athletes’ Village will control the movement of transport and assist participants and other guests of EYOF controlling smooth and timely services. One volunteer will accompany passengers in each bus to provide additional information and support, if necessary.
Teams participating in Volleyball, Basketball and Handball will be assigned dedicated minibuses.
Transportation during OPCER, CLOCER and Medal Ceremonies.
NOC delegations will be transported to the OPCER according to the preplanned schedule in alphabetical order. After conclusion of the Ceremony the buses will transfer accredited delegations and guests back to the Athletes’ Village and hotels. Members of the Olympic Family, officials, referees and judges will be transported to/from the OPCER Arena from/to their respective hotels by buses.
EYOF Tbilisi 2015 transportation team will ensure timely transportation of identified VIP guests to the medal ceremonies.
NOC Presidents, Secretary General and Guests transportation
All the VIPs including NOC Presidents, Secretaries General and Guests will assigned special VIP transport. VIP guests will receive transportation by cars or minibuses according to their accreditation category.
All the information regarding VIP transportation will be available at the transportation desks located at EOC Family Hotel.
Public Transportation
Tbilisi Public Transport System provides comprehensive and comfortable transport services for all accredited guests and clients of EYOF Tbilisi 2015. Accredited guests will have access to free public transport within Tbilisi between 25th of July and 1st of August. Public Transport Services envisages Metro Tbilisi, Regular Bus and Old Tbilisi Cable Way. Furthermore, public transport line will be assigned especially for accredited guests, from AVL to city center and back within the festival days. Visitors are required to show their Accreditation Cards to get the free services.
Taxi and Car Rental Services
Transportation service takes responsibility to deliver all the necessary information about Taxi and Car Rental services. In case of need service will help the guests to contact and communicate with relevant companies. Taxi will be available for the guests at own expense.
