Participation in the European Youth Olympic Festival is open to all young European athletes nominated by their National Olympic Committee, subject to the EYOF Charter, the Technical regulations of the European Youth Olympic Festival and the guidelines established by the Organizing Committee, duly approved by the EOC.

Any competitor in the EYOF must be a national or citizen of the country or territory of the NOC, which is entering him/her and has to possess a valid EF´s code or license when necessary. Festival qualification is entirely in the responsibility of the NOCs, strictly adhering to the respective age and maximum participation quota.

NOC who wishes to enter an athlete, who does not meet these criteria, may submit a written and detailed request to the EOC EYOF Commission not later than two months before the date of the Opening Ceremony at 26 July 2015.
