On 24 March, the EYOF Tbilisi 2015 Organizing Committee signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Davit Aghmashenebeli University of Georgia.
The MoU was signed by the Chair of EYOF Tbilisi 2015, Aleksi Akhvlediani and the Rector of the Davit Agmashenebeli University of Georgia, Teimuraz Koridze.
The MoU envisions cooperation and engagement in preparations for EYOF Tbilisi 2015. Within the framework of the MoU, the students of the signatory Uuniversity have officially become supporters of the EYOF Tbilisi 2015 and will be actively engaged as volunteers in organizational activities.
"We are proud to say that this is the largest event Georgia has ever hosted. When such a large-scale event is conducted in a country this proves on its stablility. The Festival will encompass 9 sport and relevant sporting arenas are being constructed that will empower us to host other high level international events. Though noteworthy is that OC alone cannot organize the event, the entire society should be engaged", said Aleksi Akvlediani.
Davit Aghmashenebeli University of Georgia is the fourth University to cooperate with the OC. In the previous weeks, MoUs were signed with Grigol Robakidze University, the Georgian Aviation University, and Tbilisi State Medical University.
