The Turkish team defeated the Serbians 3-2 in the finals.

The match was very close; Turkey won the first two sets (25-22) (25-11) though the Serbians managed to claim victory in the 3^rd and 4^th sets (26-24) (25-19). The 5th set turned out to be decisive, eventually finishing with the victory of Turkey 15-8.

“We are very happy; we took 4^th place in the 2015 European Championship. Now we are the gold medalists” - Bededtenlioglu Mehmet, the coach of the national team of Turkey said.

Zahra Guenes among the Turkish players was the best with her 24 points.

Turkey’s national team won all their matches at Tbilisi 2015.
