The currency in Georgia is the Lari (GEL – Georgian Equal Lari). There are the following Lari banknotes and coins in circulation:
Banknotes – 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200;
Coins – 5, 10, 20, 50.
Official exchange rate: 1 EURO = 2.40 as of April, 2015. Generally Georgian Lari is used in Georgia. The travellers have opportunity to use different credit cards approved by the International Payment Systems. There are numerous banks in Tbilisi, Georgia. Most of them provide 24/7 services. Visitors are able to have ATM (cash point machines) services throughout the city. During the Festival all participants of EYOF Tbilisi 2015 will be privileged to have 24 hours banking services at the Athletes’ Village
