Olympic Flame is already in Borjomi. To meet the Olympic Flame, the locals gathered at the center of the city. The torch relay began from Chartistskali and ended at the Rustaveli Square.

According to the decision made by the Organizing Committee, due to the tragedy, which occurred in Tbilisi on 13 of June, a festive celebration was not held. The Organizing Committee, once again, states its deep condolences and commemorates all the family's for their losses.

The Olympic Flame, after the stay in Borjomi, will travel further to the municipality of Khashuri.

The Olympic Flame is traveling across regions of Georgia since May 28, and it has already visited 29 administrative centers. These are: Khelvachauri, Keda, Shuakhevi, Khulo, Adigeni, Akhaltsikhe, Aspindza, Ninotsminda, Tsalka, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Rustavi, Sagarejo, Dedoplistskaro, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Gurjaani, Telavi, Akhmeta, Kazbegi, Pasanauri, Tianeti, Dusheti, Mtskheta, Kaspi, Gori, Borjomi.
